Wayne Urquhart
Wayne has extensive experience in helping organisations to build competency models, design and implement selection and development processes, provide multi-rater feedback and executive coaching, and realize succession planning systems.
Before establishing Acumen with his partner Jo Clayton, Wayne had built an extraordinary set of business experiences and skills developed over a career that includes management positions at AMP, Executive Resources International and the NZ Police.
Some of Wayne’s accomplishments include:
Implementation of companywide succession planning processes focused on assessing, calibrating and developing talent for international deployment. Facilitation of senior executive team programmes to identify the strategic capabilities critical to deliver of competitive advantage and long-term organisation success. Delivery of culture change through organisation wide People strategies, including identification of the resources critical to business performance. Wayne partners as a ‘change manager’ alongside organisations providing implementation for Lominger based talent strategies, impacting critical outcomes such as improved engagement, leadership & management , performance, selection, team development, and succession planning.He scopes, implements and delivers organisation wide HR strategies featuring Success Profiling and competency-based behavioural interventions. Wayne has a Master of Management degree ( HR & OD), having previously completed a Master of Business Administration. He travels globally on a regular basis and resides alternatively between France & New Zealand. |
